The Division: Underground DLC

I worked on the Divisions underground DLC expansion as Senior Environment Artist at Ubisoft Reflections.
I was primarily responsible for the Connecting rooms that connected 2 different types of theme together, e.g. Subway to Sewer etc. These rooms essentially had to blend one theme successfully in to a different theme in a believable realistic manner which was quite a challenge.
This was a fun project to work on, Myself and my Level Designer (LD) Adam Shell had a blast coming up with crazier and more fun ideas for the player to traverse and explore this dense underworld. I think my most favourite connector I created would have to be the crashed train, in my own little homage to James bond in skyfall I thought it might be quite cool to have an upper subway car smashed through multiple floors within which you can clamber in and around the train itself, it was no easy task, but it came out great in the end.
I also worked on the subway Special room (shopping mall) with Jill Ralmark.
